Is therapy for me?

Therapy is for anyone that wants to seek emotional support with a difficulty that are facing.  You do not need to be in crisis, you can access therapy any time that it feels right for you

How do I access therapy?

I offer face to face appointments in Wellingborough and online sessions via Whatsapp and Zoom enabling you to access therapy in a way that suits you. 

Will you keep my information safe?

Yes, all data and notes will be kept securely in line with the GDPR and data protection policies

How many sessions do I have to have?

This is entirely up to you and is explored on an individual basis and will be reviewed regularly as therapy progresses.  Some people are looking for a few sessions whilst others prefer to have long term therapy.  

Will you tell me how to solve my problems?

No, therapy provides a space where you can explore your thoughts, feelings and behaviours in order to gain a better understanding of yourself and make the decisions that are right for you.  

What if I find it difficult to talk about my feelings?

Lots of people, children and adults alike, find it difficult to verbalise the way they feel.  If that sounds like you we can use a variety of creative and play based interventions that will support you to explore these therapeutically
